Bengal, the incumbent had been participating as an Interview Board Member twice every year between 2003 and 2011 in the 3-member Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) Panel constituted by the Eastern Command of the Indian Army headquartered at Fort William, Kolkata, for the primary selection of candidates for the posts of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Territorial Army.
