Activities

We have organized one day work shop on safety measures in the chemistry lab with the help of Borosil, India. They also demonstrate some new age instruments that will be helpful for all the students during their higher studies.

150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita, an Inter-Disciplinary State Level Seminar on Vivid Facets of Higher Learning Towards Conservation of Life was organized by our department along with Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Statistics Department of the college. This event was sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.

Speakers were Prof. Sabyasachi Sarkar and Prof. Mallar Roy of IIEST, Shibpur.
