NSS
Our college is a toddler, having been established only recently in 2015. The NSS unit of this college was born on 27th March with more than a hundred students who enthusiastically came forward as volunteers. As per the guidelines of the Govt. of India, NSS advisory committee was formed. NSS induction meet, which was held on 23.3.2017, was graced by the presence of our NSS state officer Dr. Ramaprasad Bhattacharya. Within a very few day, we have organized a number of seminars with the help of our Honourable Principal, faculty members and non-teaching staff of the college and most importantly the students. Our NSS committee members and volunteers are extremely determined, passionate, creative and daring. With this dedicated NSS team, we will, undoubtedly, march ahead to achieve our goals and continue our endeavor in the service of the community and humanity at large.

| 04.05.2017 | Rabindra Jayanti Celebration | Cultural programme organized with the help of the Cultural Committee where students participated and performed. |
| 05.06.2017 | World Environment Day | Principal, Prof. Dr. Krishna Roy, delivered a speech and planted saplings in the college premises. |
| 07.07.2017 | Aforestation Programme | Plantlets were sown in the college premises in collaboration the organizers of “Namami Gange” initiative. |
| 15.07.2017 | Independence Day | Flag Hoisting and a brief cultural programme were organized with the help of the Cultural committee. |
| 17.08.2017 | Donation for Flood Victims | Eager donations from teachers and students were collected and handed over to Bharat Sebashram Sangha, Ballygunge, Kolkata in aid of the flood victims of North Bengal. |
| 06.09.2017 | National Nutrition Week Celebration | NSS team cooperated and facilitated the organization of celebration for National Nutrition Week by the Department of Food and Nutrition. |
