Department of Physics

The Department of Physics at the Sister Nibedita Govt. General Degree College for Girls, Hastings House was formed in 2015.The Department currently offers Physics as General subject to the students of Mathematics, Computer Science, Geology and other Honours Subjects. The laboratory of the Department is well equipped and the central library is rich with a good number of advanced books for Physics Honours as well as General Physics. The Department is all set to introduce 3 years B.Sc. Physics Honours Course from the next academic session.
