IQAC Reports

Activities of IQAC (17th March, 2017 To Date)

1. Formation of IQAC was announced and formalized on 17th March, 2017 with 14 Members with Chairperson (1 No.), Senior Administrative Officer (2 Nos.), In-House Teachers (7 Nos.), Member from Management (1 No.), Nominee from Local Society (1 No.), Nominee from Stakeholder (1 No.), Director of IQAC (1 No.).
2. First Meeting of IQAC was held on 27.3.2017.
3. Second Meeting of IQAC was held on 23.6.2017.
4. Report for College affiliation to UGC was prepared in 10 copies and sent on 07.6.17 with all relevant details, and permission is also received from UGC for 2(f) status on 14.09.2017.
5. Career Advancement of Teachers was fruitfully arranged for 4 teachers from Stage I to Stage II of Nibedita Nag and Sanghamitra Chanda and from Stage III to Stage IV of Subhalakshmi Dasgupta and Antara Banerjee was held on 21.3.2017 and also of Rajarshi Roy.
6. IQAC has taken initiative to open a new current bank account on 08.09.2017 under the head of “College Research Grants” for safe upkeep of all project related expenditures.
7. IQAC took a pivital role in formation of Governing body and first meeting of the G.B. on 17th March, 2017.
8. Second meeting of the G.B. was held on 12th August, 2017.
9. IQAC has taken a decisive role in convening the First meeting of the Human Ethical Committee of our college for the session 2017-18 will be held on 21.7.2017.
10. All teachers applying for OP-RC are being recommended and forwarded by the IQAC.
11. All teachers submitting proposals for research are being recommended and forwarded by the IQAC.
12. IQAC takes a major role in arranging seminars both at in-house and national levels.
13. Third Meeting of IQAC was held on 15.9.2017.
