Department of Bengali

Welcome to the department of Bengali of Sister Nibedita Government General Degree College for Girls.

The Bengali Department of SNGGDCG was established in 2015. Currently, the department conducts a three-year graduate level courses in Bengali Honours.

On 6th December 2016, we organised a seminar on Women Empowerment in collaboration with other Humanities Departments.

Our Students take active parts in college sports, NSS activities and in various college Programmes.

In 2019, we have celebrated International Vernacular Day by felicitating an author Smt. Trishna Basak.
