Philosophy Activities

1) A state-level seminar was organised by the Department of Philosophy in collaboration with the departments of Bengali, English, Sanskrit and Political Science on 06.12.16. The topic of the seminar was "Remembering Sister Nivedita: a Symbol of Women's Empowerment".

2) Nandita Bagchi spoke on gender politics in biological sciences in a Tuesday seminar in 2018.

3) The Department of Philosophy conducted a seminar in collaboration with the Department of Political Science to commemorate International Women's Day on 07.03.19.
