  • Assistant Professor (WBES) in Sister Nibedita Govt. General Degree College for Girls, Hastings House, Alipore, Kolkata from June, 2015 till date.
  • Guest Lecturer at Ananda Mohan College (City College evening) from August, 2012 to April, 2015.

Research Experience:

  • Junior Research Fellow (03.01.2011- 02.01.2013) & Senior Research Fellow (from 03.01.2013 -31.05.2015)
  • Awarded Ph.D. degree from University of Calcutta under the supervision of Prof. Ashutosh Ghosh on 30.12.2015.
    Title of the Thesis: “Studies On Homo- And Hetero-metallic Complexes of Maganese(II/III) With Some O And N Donor Ligands”.

Academic Achievement:

  • I have JRF (NET) UGC fellowship with All India Rank- 305 in the National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC -NET) organized in June, 2010 in the paper Chemistry.
  • I have secured All India Rank- 88 in the paper Chemistry in GATE 2010 with GATE score 0568.
  • Received “INSC Young Researcher Award -2023”; (Award Id: 3YRA34) in May, 2023
  • Received Best Poster presentation award in One day National seminar on Frontiers of Functional Materials on 06.12.24, organized by Department of Chemistry, University of Calcutta.
  • Academic Editor of International Research Journal of Pure and Applied Chemistry

Research Interest :

Systematic study of the homo and heterometallic complexes derived from Schiff-base ligands and/ or N,N-donor spacers with various transition metals in presence of several auxiliary bridging groups.
