Seminars and workshops

“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” – Henry Ford.

What could be more interesting and retaining than learning in heterogeneous groups where popular talks are delivered by experts? That is precisely the reason why we, at Sister Nibedita Government General Degree College for Girls, organized Seminars on a regular basis for all, old and young!

Seminars

  1. Professor (Dr.) Krishna Roy, Principal of the college delivered a lecture on ‘Career Advancement Scheme under UGC Regulation, 2016’ on a special seminar on 20 February 2018.
  2. In-house seminars are delivered by teachers of different specializations in a very lucid yet captivating manner so that students would be engrossed and benefitted. Not only would they know and learn new topics and subjects, but a broader horizon would open up in front of them. Learning the art of speaking in public while managing a precise power point presentation, the right body language, and the skill to handle questions from the audience are other important aspects that our students get to train themselves within the process of attending such weekly/ fortnightly seminars. We also plan to invite speakers from different disciplines from varied Institutions who would enrich our faculties and students with their worthy talks and valuable time. In near future, our students would also be competent enough to deliver such seminars from their end. All the speakers are felicitated with a small token of appreciation for their time and effort towards presenting a beautiful seminar.
